Vaccination of 18 – 30 age group begins

Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 immunisation program yesterday commenced the vaccination of the 18 – 30 age group at a district level.

According to the Health Ministry, there are 3.7 million persons aged between 18 – 30 in Sri Lanka and relevant officials have been instructed to fast-track the vaccination program of this age group.

“As #LKA proceeds to blaze a trail in the #VaccineRollout, today marked another milestone where we now turn our attention on vaccinating the 20-30 age group at district level,” Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella tweeted, urging everyone to get vaccinated.
