Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MP from Batticaloa Sathasivam Viyalendiran was sworn in as the State Minister of Backward Rural Areas Development and Promotion of Domestic Animal Husbandry and Minor Economic Crop Cultivation, before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday.
The President’s Media Division issuing a statement said the swearing in took place at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday. Previously he was the State Minister of Postal Services and Professional Development of Journalists.
