WFH ends, public servants told to report to their offices from today

The Work from Home (WFH) arrangement for public servants during the COVID-19 pandemic has been suspended from today with the Government requesting all employees to report to work in their offices from 8 March.

The Public Administration Ministry has issued a circular in this connection and said employees staying away from work would have to apply for leave hereafter.

Department heads have been entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring that COVID-19 guidelines are properly implemented.

The circular also said action should be taken to ensure the delivery of public services without any interruption.

Additionally heads of the State institutions have been instructed to follow the health guidelines issued by the Health Ministry to ensure the safety and health of public officers and the people.
