Yakooth Naleem donates Rs. 1 m to Archbishop Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith

A cheque for Rs. 1 million has been presented to Archbishop of Colombo Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, by Bairaha Farms PLC, as a token of goodwill to assist our Christian brethren at this hour of need. This money can be used to alleviate a part of the suffering of affected people by the recent destruction caused by terrorists, as well as for the needs of the Church.  

This cheque was presented to the Archbishop by Late Naleem Hajiar’s son Bairaha Farms PLC Managing Director Yakooth Naleem, who was accompanied by Executive Director Riyal Yakoob and General Manager (Marketing Services) Claver Fernando.

In addition, Yakooth Naleem informed the Archbishop that another donation of Rs. 500,000 would be given to Father Srilal, in charge of St. Sebastian Church at Katuwapitiya, which was also unfortunately attacked by the terrorists last Easter Sunday.
