Health officials state that no COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed on Tuesday and the country’s COVID-19 death toll is 16,497.
Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 9,310 are male and 7,187 are female.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.28% of the COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.4% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.32% are below 30 years.
