A Sri Lankan passenger

A Sri Lankan passenger from Negombo was arrested at the Airport Departure lounge yesterday with 124 tortoises concealed in his baggage. He was trying to take them out to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The tortoises were handed over to the Customs Biodiversity Protection, Cultural and National Heritage Unit for further investigation. After the Customs inquiry, they will be handed over to the zoo –
