Acting Foreign Minister meets Members of German-South Asia Parliamentary Friendship Group

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Harsha de Silva today received Members of the German-South -Asia Parliamentary Friendship Group who are on an official tour in Sri Lanka from 6 to 9 April.  The delegation who called on Dr. De Silva at the Foreign Ministry premises comprised of parliamentarians representing the Social Democratic Party and the Christian Democratic Union.

During the meeting, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs provided a comprehensive overview of the progress achieved by the Government in its efforts towards restoring democracy, fostering reconciliation and bringing about economic development. The Parliamentarians commended the Government of Sri Lanka for the positive transformation that is taking place in the country.
