All religious ceremony at PIM

An all-religious ceremony was held at the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) recently to invoke blessings on the Institute’s new Director, Dr. Ajantha Dharmasiri and the staff.  It was refreshing to see the presence of students, visiting faculty and PIM alumni members as well. 

The religious dignitaries who were invited for this all important occasion represented the Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic and Christian religious centers of worship of the vicinity.  This was the first time the PIM held an all -religious ceremony of this nature, moving beyond traditional management boundaries.  

At the end of the four sermons, Dr. Dharmasiri invited the audience to stand and the religious dignitaries to simultaneously radiate their “collective spiritual energy”.
