Alumex continues as strategic sponsor for Sri Lanka Institute of Architects

The Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) law no. 1 of 1976, enacted by the National State Assembly is the governing body of Architectural professionals and the study of architecture in Sri Lanka.

Architect 2013, the annual sessions of SLIA is scheduled from 20 to 24 February 2013, at BMICH, Colombo. The theme for this year’s event is ‘Think Smart—Innovative Enterprise Architecture’ and the national conference will be addressed by several internationally reputed professionals.

The SLIA appointed Alumex, which is one of Sri Lanka’s leading manufacturers of aluminium profiles, as the strategic sponsor for the third consecutive year in 2013. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between SLIA and Alumex during the ceremony.

The agreement was signed by SLIA President Archt. Ranjan Nadesapillai and Alumex Managing Director Rohan Peris in the presence of other members and representatives from SLIA and Alumex.

As SLIA’s strategic sponsor for 2013, Alumex will be the main sponsor for the institute’s annual sessions Architect 2013. The annual sessions include the National Conference, Member’s Work and Trade Exhibition, Annual General Meeting and Fellowship Night.
