Amunugama Chief Guest at launch of ‘Anagarika Dharmapala and India-Sri Lanka Relations’

Special Assignments Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama was the Chief Guest at the launch of the volume ‘Anagarika Dharmapala and India-Sri Lanka Relations’ held on 11 February at the Senate Hall, College House, University of Colombo.

Amunugama delivered the main speech at this book launch. This book was presented to Amunugama by CCIS Director Prof. Sandagomi Koparahewa.

This volume has been published by the Center for Contemporary Indian Studies (CCIS) of the University of Colombo based on the symposium held on 24 September on the above theme.

Deputy High Commissioner of India Arindam Bagchi, University of Colombo Vice Chancellor Prof. Lakshman Dissanayake, CCIS Director Prof. Sandagomi Koparahewa and FGS Dean Prof. Nayani Melegoda, addressed the gathering. Several other professors and lecturers also attended this function.
