Another 350 ex-cadres to be reintegrated

Action has been taken to reintegrate another 350 rehabilitated former LTTE cadres ahead of Deepavali festival.

According to the Prison Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Ministry, so far more than 10,000 LTTE cadres have been rehabilitated out of 11, 699 and released and they have joined in the social stream. A total of 1,800 rehabilitated cadres were reintegrated recently in the presence of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Measures have also been undertaken to release the remaining cadres undergoing rehabilitation soon
