Auditor General’s Annual Report presented to Deputy Speaker

Auditor General Gamini Wijesinghe handed over the ‘Annual Report of the Auditor-General 2015’ to the Deputy Speaker in Parliament last week.

The report for 2015 on the performance and manner of the discharge of duties and functions devolved to the AG in pursuance of the provisions of Article 154 of the Sri Lankan Constitution for the direction of the independent examination on the effective and efficient maintenance of the Parliamentary Control on the Public Finance devolved to Parliament in pursuance of the provisions in Article 148 of the Constitution.
