Avant Garde Maritime Services Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathi was questioned for three hours by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) yesterday regarding a complaint made by Ministers Rajitha Senaratne, Patali Champika Ranawaka and Arjuna Ranatunga.

The three ministers had lodged a complaint stating Senadhipathi insulted them by commenting that they had demanded bribes from maritime companies.

However addressing a media gathered in front of the CID, Senadhipathi alleged around 6,790 retired army personnel have lost their jobs due to the action taken by the Government against Avant Garde.
