Basil chairs Batticaloa District Coordination Committee meeting

Basil Rajapaksa, Minister of Economic Development, participated at the Batticaloa District Coordination Committee meeting on Saturday at the District Secretariat office in Batticaloa. A sum of more than Rs. 2830 million was allocated for the development activities in the Batticaloa District this year. 

Senior Minister Athaudha Seneviratna; Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan, Chief Minister of the Eastern Province; Mohan Wijewickrama, Governor of the Eastern Province; A. H. M. Hisbulla Deputy Minister of Child Development and Women’s Affairs; Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan, Deputy Minister of Resettlement; Susantha Punchinilame, Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development and several government officials also participated at this occasion.
