Bhikkhu Free English Training Institute holds award ceremony for 2013 batch

The Bhikkhu Free Educational Institute of Mohan Lal Grero Foundation recently held its award ceremony for its 2013 batch.
Mohan Lal Grero Foundation Founder/ Deputy Minister of Education Mohan Lal Grero came forward to help Buddhist monks island-wide to develop their knowledge in English and Buddhism with the view of proclaiming the Buddha’s teachings worldwide.
This program is opened to all Buddhist priests free of charge who wish to study and develop their knowledge in the Buddhist doctrines and discourses.
The Anunayake Thero of the Amarapura Maha Nikaya, Ven Kotugoda Dhammawasa Thero and Principal and Administrator of Sunethradevi Pirivena Ven. Dr. Medagoda Abhayathissa Thero graced the occasion as the Chief Guests and distributed certificates.
Along with Grero and the three monastic Bhikku’s the award ceremony was held with the participation of civil society organisations and educationists.
