British envoy wishes for Avurudu

A message from the British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, John Rankin, to mark the Sinhala and Tamil New Year:  “I extend my warmest wishes to the people of Sri Lanka for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

This is a time of goodwill and warmth; a time to celebrate family, friends and communities; a time for hope and new plans. I wish you a prosperous, peaceful and happy New Year.”
