The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) has recorded a statement from businessman and former Presidential candidate A.S.P. Liyanage.
Liyanage had earlier announced that he would be giving his house to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to carry out his political work.
However, Liyanage told the Colombo Gazette that he had decided not to give his house to the former President owing to the current political climate in the country.
