Chamara appointed Uva CM

United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) member Chamara Sampath Dasanayake was appointed as the Uva Provincial Council Chief Minister.

Dasanayake took oaths before President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday. He replaces UNP MP Harin Fernando who won a seat in Parliament at the last General Election.
