Champika to cut expenses by 10%

Minister of Power and Energy Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka has directed his Ministry officials to ensure a 10% reduction in expenses.

The move is as a response to conserving energy following the upward revision in fuel and electricity prices. The Minister will also ensure his personal fuel bill is reduced by 10%, a statement from the Ministry said yesterday.
