The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval to appoint a committee on the request of Minister of Urban Development, Water Supply and Drainage Rauff Hakeem to review the aspects pertaining to the relocation of families in underserved settlements within the City of Colombo undertaken by the Urban Development Authority.
Accordingly, grievances and requests of those who have been affected due to the above relocation process can be forwarded to the committee headed by the Additional Secretary (Urban Development) Ministry of Urban Development, Water Supply and Drainage by post or hand delivery on or before 10 April.
