Inter religious leaders this week visited the High Commission of South Africa to express their condolences over the demise of Nelson Mandela. A united message of condolences was shared with the people of South Africa via the High Commission’s First Secretary Phumzile Thekiso by Ven. Galagama Damma Ransi Thero on behalf of Buddhists, Venerable Babastarma Kurakkal on behalf of Hindus, Dr. Hassan Moulana on behalf of Muslims and Rev. Sarath Hetiarachchi and Baptist Rev. John Gunarathne on behalf of Christians.
