Construction of new Magistrate’s and a District Court complete

The new courts complex has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 152 million. All facilities have been provided to house a Magistrate’s and a District Court in this three storied building.

The Magistrate’s Court in Kadawatha, functions from January this year and the District Court will commence functioning in the near future.

The new courts complex in Kadawatha has been constructed under the Government program for the speedy disposal of the backlog of court cases.
