COPE to look in to 23 state institutions

Chairman of the Committee on Public Enterprises Parliamentarian Sunil Handunneththi stated that 23 State Institutions under 19 Ministries will be looked in to by the Committee.

The Parliamentarian stated that inquiries in to these institutions will commence on the 5th of January and will go on till the 24th of March.

Accordingly, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Bank of Ceylon, Rakna Lanka Company, Sri Lankan Airlines, Sri Lanka Cricket, Ceylon Electricity Board, National Water Supply and Drainage Board will be among those called before COPE.
