Court rejects bail application by Sajin Vass

A bail application filed by United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Parliamentarian Sajin Vass Gunawardena, was rejected by the Fort Magistrate yesterday.

The Magistrate, after rejecting the bail application, further remanded the Parliamentarian till 24 June. Sajin Vass Gunawardena was arrested over allegations he had misused vehicles belonging to the Presidential Secretariat when he was the Monitoring MP of the Foreign Ministry. (Colombogazette)
