The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Representative for Sri Lanka Una McCauley paid a courtesy call on Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa recently at the Ministry of Economic Development.

Following a warm welcome, matters of mutual interests and developmental assistance to children and mothers’ programs were discussed during the meeting. “It is a great privilege to be able to serve the children of this nation through UNICEF’s Child Rights mandate,” said McCauley. She has been with UNICEF since 2002 serving in Angola, Kenya, Sudan, Togo and Panama.
