Dr. A.M.A. Azeez Foundation and All Ceylon YMMA Conference jointly organised a commemoration meeting of Eminent Educationist and first Muslim servant Dr. A.M.A. Azeez and released the books ‘One Distinguished Family of Moor Street Jaffna’ and ‘Arivor Parwail Kalanidi Azeez’ at the Zahira College Gaffoor Hall recently.
Guest Speaker retired banker and consultant in Islamic finance A.I. Marikar delivered a speech on ‘Islamic Banking an Alternate Approach to Finance.’ Azeez Foundation President S.H.M. Jameel, Secretary Khalid M. Farook, distinguished old boy of Zahira College P. Balasingham, Principal Zahira College Trizvi Marikkar, Prof. Tuley De Silva, YMMA President M.T. Thassim and YMMA Maligawatte Patron S.B.C. Thassim were also present.
