Dr. Anil new head of National Hospital

Dr. Anil Jasinghe has been appointed as the new Director of the country’s main hospital, Colombo National Hospital, by Public Services Commission, Ministry of Health reported.

Dr. Jasinghe has been functioning as director of Colombo South Teaching Hospital in Kalubowila for four years. He had previously served as Head of Accident Ward of the Colombo National Hospital.

The acting director of the Colombo National Hospital Dr. Sujatha Senaratne, who was overseeing operations since the retirement of previous director Dr. Hector Weerasinghe last year, is expected to be transferred to the Health Ministry.
