Over 60 governmental leaders from the Asia Pacific region have convened in Bangkok, Thailand to discuss the social protection and development agenda for the region. UNESCAP 67th Commission Sessions began on 19 May 2011 and is due to conclude tomorrow.
The 67th Commission session of UNESCAP (United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific) is held under the theme “Beyond the Crises” – the long term perspectives on social protection and development in Asia and the pacific.
