EU Parliament extols development process of Sri Lanka

The European Parliament has lauded Sri Lanka’s development process. Member of the MEP, UK from the European Union Parliament Phil Bennion, who is on a visit to Sri Lanka, expressed this when he met Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa. The Sri Lankan Government which successfully faced the challenge of defeating terrorism has taken massive steps to develop the country including the Northern and Eastern Provinces. Bennion stated that the international community can now witness themselves the successful development process of Sri Lanka
