Expenditure of institutions passed without amendments

Proposed expenditure of the offices of the President and Prime Minister and several institutions in 2016 were passed on Thursday in Parliament during the Committee Stage without amendments.

The institutions were:

1.     Office of the President

2.    Office of the Prime Minister

3.    Judges of the Superior Courts

5.    Office of the Cabinet of Ministers

6.    Public Service Commission

7.    Judicial Service Commission

8.    National Police Commission

9.    Administrative Appeals Tribunal

10.Commission to Investigate      Allegations of Bribery 

   or Corruption

11.Office of the Finance             Commission

12.National Education           Commission

13. Human Rights Commission          of Sri Lanka

16.  Parliament

17. Office of the Leader of the         House of Parliament

18.Office of the Chief  Government Whip of Parliament

19.Office of the Leader of the       Opposition of Parliament

20.Department of Elections

21.Auditor General

22.Office of the Parliamentary     Commissioner for Administration
