Five suspects connected to an international drug syndicate arrested

Five suspects connected to an international drug syndicate were arrested by the officers of the Police Narcotic Bureau at Wattala yesterday.

A contraband weighing two and a half kilogrammes worth Rs. 25 million has also been seized from the possession of the suspects.

The raid was carried out following prolonged investigations, and Rs. 400,000 have also been found in the possession of the suspects.
