The Fort Magistrate today issued a warrant to arrest Sri Lanka’s former Ambassador to Russia, Udayanga Weeratunga.
The Magistrate instructed the CID to issue the warrant through Interpol. The warrant was issued over ongoing investigations into the MiG deal.
Weeratunga claims he is in Ukraine and has refused to support any investigations against him. (Colombo Gazette)
