Four Indian passengers bound to Chennai were taken into custody

Four Indian passengers bound to Chennai were taken into custody by airport customs on Saturday (21), with 13 gold biscuits worth Rs. 1.1 billion and 17850 Euros worth Rs. 2.6 million in their possession.

The suspects had been nabbed by Superintended of Custom Wimal Piyasumana at the Departure Lounge. Further investigations are being carried out. Picture by Kumarasiri Prasad – Our Airport Correspondent.
