The Colombo Virtual Stock Exchange (VSE) that has been recently unveiled by Sri Lanka’s Global Media Networks recently with a vision to increase investor participation of Sri Lankan capital market is growing to be the ‘Most Innovative Virtual Exchange’ model in the world that could improve market development and is a model that could be used for financial professionals’ training in any country, top analysts in the global capital market industry outlines. Colombo Virtual Stock Exchange or VSE that comes with mobile application on Google App Store and Apple App Store is a simulated stock market portal conceptualised, created and designed by Global Media Networks Ltd. (GMNet), a limited liability company, established under the Companies Act No. 07 of 2007.     VSE utilises publicly available stock market information and other macroeconomic factor of the Sri Lanka stock market to create a simulated training environment for stock market enthusiast and investors to learn and practice stock market trading.
