The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has launched an online petition campaign requesting the Government to develop a national policy to guide international trade agreements.

It expects to hand over the petition to President Maithripala Sirisena after reaching its goal of 1,000,000 signatures.

The GMOA is demanding to nominate responsible authorities to direct the process of signing a bilateral trade agreement via a well-established nation policy.

It invites all interested people to visit its official web site www.gmoa.lk to sign the online petition.
