Grero to oversee UPFA’s Avissawella campaign

The organisation of the United People’s Freedom Alliance’s (UPFA) general election campaign for the Avissawella electorate in the Colombo District has been delegated to Mohan Lal Grero, the former Deputy Minister of Education and co-organiser of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party in Ratmalana.  

Launching the election campaign in Avissawella, Grero stated that he dedicated himself to conducting an excellent election campaign respecting the political views of others along with a violence-free publicity mechanism.  

He gave assurances that the Avissawella electorate would provide a victory for the party with a greater number of votes than at any previous election.
