Grero’s ‘Iskola Handiya’ book launch tomorrow

Skills Development Ministries, will be launched on 27 September 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at the Kularathna Hall, Ananda college, Colombo 10. The erudite pact of Iskola Handiya will be presented by University of Colombo Senior Lecturer in Sinhala Ven. Dr. Agalakada Sirisumana Thero and University of Sri Jayawaradanapura Department of Sociology and Anthropology Head Dr. Praneeth S. Abeysundara. Mohan Lal Grero, speaking of the book said: “With the objective of effecting structural changes in the education system of Sri Lanka, during the past seven years, I have continuously published an article titled ‘Iskola Handiya’ in the Lankadeepa newspaper. Based on this series of articles, I have decided to publish a book with the same title, in order to be of service to those involved in the education sector of this country.” The Iskola Handiya book launch will be conducted with the participation of three sectarian monastic Bhikku’s, other religious clergy, ministers, members of parliament, the opposition, members of political parties, civil organisations, educationists and artists.
