Hakeem discusses salary issues with Water Board trade unions

A discussion was held between Urban Development, Water Supply and Drainage Minister Rauff Hakeem and employees of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board over issues relating to their salaries, on Wednesday afternoon at the Ministry Auditorium.
Ministry Secretary Karunasena Hettiarachchi, Additional Secretary Sarath Vithana, Water Board Chairman K.A. Ansar, Vice Chairman Safeek Rajabdeen, Working Director Mahilal Silva and representatives of the unions also participated in the dialogue. The Minister gave assurances that a salary increase would be implemented following Cabinet approval.
