Minister of Urban Development and Water Supply Rauff Hakeem discussed the problems relation to drinking water in Ampara, Batticaloa, Trincomalee and Kandy Districts at the Urban Development Ministry on 28 January. The Minister and Ministry officials also discussed urban development projects for Kalmunai Municipal and Sammanthurai, Pottuvil and Ampara urban areas. The Minister instructed his officials to prepare new urban development projects for areas in the Eastern Province such as Muttur, Kinniya, Addalichenai, Pottuvil, Batticaloa and Trincomalee
