YMMA Maligawatte
National Council of YMMA Maligawatte has organised Prophet Muhammad Birthday “Meelad un Nabi” Celebration today (3rd January 2015) at 6.30 p.m. at the Lafir Cassim Auditorium . It will be held under the patronage of National President of the YMMA Al Haj M.M. Mohamed.
Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs Dept.
The Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs has organised the National Meelad un Nabi inauguration ceremony which will be held on 4 January 2105 at 10 a.m. at the Colombo 7 Dewatagaha Jumma Mosque, under the patronage of Prime Minister D.M. Jayarathne. Ministers, MPs, religious leaders and Ulamas will grace the event, said Director of the Department M.H.M. Zameel.

All Ceylon YMMA Conference has organised the 65th Meelad un Nabi (Holy Prophet Muhammad’s) birthday celebration which will be held on Sunday 4 January 2015 at 4 p.m. at the Dr. A.M.A. Azeez Auditorium YMMA National Headquarters, Colombo 9. Weligama Rifaiya Arabic College Principal Moulavi Al Haj. M.S.M. Abdullah will be the guest speaker.
Ummu Zavaya, Colombo 12
The Board of Trustees of Ummu Zavaya, Colombo 12 has organised the 112th year ‘Annual Shamaailil Muhammadiya thamam’ program to mark the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s birthday Sunday 4 January 2015 at the Ummu Zavaya. The SLBC Muslim Service will broadcast the program live from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
It will be held under the patronage of Kaleefathul Kulafa Moulavi J. Abdul Hameed (Bahji).
President of the Board of Trustees Deshabandu Al Haj. Macky Hashim and members of the Board of Trustee Ummu Zavaya, Ulamas, students of Ajward al Fassy Arabic College, Kaleefas, Muqaddams and Iqwans will grace the majlis.
