Indonesian authorities have arrested 14 Sri Lankans for being in the country without valid passports, the Indonesian media reported.
The 14 Sri Lankans had been arrested in Belawan in Indonesia after they had reportedly entered the country by boat from Malaysia.
Officials had arrested the Sri Lankans when they were seen roaming around Belawan, a busy port city in Indonesia and investigations had later revealed that they did not possess valid passports. (Colombo Gazette)
