The two-day visit is a follow-up to President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s visit to Tokyo in March this year.

During their visit Aso, who is also the Finance Minister of Japan, and Ms. Obuchi will call on the Sri Lankan President to discuss bilateral relations with a view to further strengthening the long-standing ties between the two countries.
