Supreme Court Judge Chandra Ekanayake was sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice before President Maithripala Sirisena last morning at the Presidential Secretariat.
Secretary to the President P.B. Abeykoon was also present at the occasion.
Ekanayake is a sitting judge of the Supreme Court and since 2012 has been a non-resident Justice of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Fiji.
