K.A. Renuka, a member of the family which was reported to be living at the Pashionwatte Cemetery in Biyagama, reveals her plight to State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardene, who visited the family yesterday. The family is said to be living in an abandoned ayurvedic clinic located at the cemetery and had faced financial difficulties after Renuka’s husband P.A. Jagath lost his fingers in an accident some years ago. The State Minister promised to provide land and a house to the family and support the only child of the family, Shehani Imalsha, who is currently in Grade 4 - Pic by Pradeep Pathirana
