Kuwaiti Minister of Justice calls on Minister Hakeem

Kuwaiti Minister of Justice Jamal AL Ahmad Shihab called on Minister of Justice Rauff Hakeem at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the Kuwait City yesterday. Both Ministers discussed matters pertaining to the justice sector in general and agreed to conclude negotiations on three bilateral judicial cooperation agreements. Minister Hakeem invited his counterpart to visit Sri Lanka and sign the agreements.

Minister Hakeem, who visited Kuwait as the Special Envoy of President Rajapaksa on the eve of the crucial vote at the UN Human Rights Council thanked the Government of Kuwait for the support extended to Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka Ambassador in Kuwait C.A.H.M. Wijeratne also associated with the Minister
