The UNP Leadership Council met with Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith at the Bishop’s House yesterday to brief him about the changes in the party and obtain his blessings for the Council’s work going forward.
Leadership Council Chairman Karu Jayasuriya said the Cardinal had been briefed about the new changes to the UNP constitution and the need to prioritise party unity.
