Mufti M. H. M. Yoosuf ( Abu Umar) insha Allah, today Friday 6th July, 2012 commencing at 7.00 pm at S De S Jayasinghe Hall, Dehiwela.

Topics covered will be: Understanding Zakat and its necessity/ importance. Who is required to pay and who is entitled to receive it? When it is due and is the duration fixed or continuous? What are the requirements for Zakat and its application? How do you calculate and how it should be distributed?
