Lions Club of Galkissa shines

The 10th Annual Convention of Lions Clubs International, District 306 A1 was successfully held at the BMICH on 23 and 24 May 2015 with its customary glamour and splendour under the chairmanship of District Governor Lion Ganamini Sumanasena. International President 2007/2008, Lion Mahendra Amarasuriya PMJF, Chief Guest, was accompanied by Lady Lion Kushlani Amarasuriya PMJF and graced the occasion. Lion Damitha Jayawardana, President of the Galkissa Club, received the award for the Best President of the District for the Lionistic year 2014/2015. In addition, he claimed a special Governor’s Award for the Best Humility Project – Humanitarian’.
