The former Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad called on Secretary Defence and Urban Development Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Wednesday.
Dr. Mohamad and the Defence Secretary had cordial discussions during the meeting on matters of bilateral importance and mutual interests. High Commissioner of Malaysia in Sri Lanka, Azmi Zainuddin was also present at the occasion.
Rajapaksa presented a memento to the visiting Malaysian former Prime Minister to mark the occasion.
