Massive development work earmarked for Deyata Kirula 2013

A massive development program is now underway in the Eastern Province and Polonnaruwa district in line with the 2013 Deyata Kirula National Exhibition.



A sum of Rs. 16528 million is to be allocated for the development projects in the Polonnaruwa, Batticaloa, Trincomalee and Ampara Districts parallel to Deyata Kirula 2013 National Exhibition.

A preliminary discussion in this regard was held on June 28 under the patronage of Minister Basil Rajapaksa, Senior Adviser to the President and Minister of Economic Development at the Ministry of Finance.

Minister of Telecom-munication AND Information Technology Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, Minister of Provincial Council and Local Government A.L.M. Athaulla, Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development Susantha Punchi Nilame, Deputy Minister of Child Development and Women’s Affairs M.L.A.M Hizbullah, Parliament Members Sarath Weerasekara, P.H.P Piyasena, H.M.M Harees, Faizal Cassim, Chadrasiri Sooriyaarachchi, Sriyani Wijewickrama, Basheer Segu Dawood and Government officials also participated at this occasion.
